Nicholas Brooks

Nicholas Brooks is a London-based artist working with film, sculpture and installation. His work ranges across subjects such as archaeology, early technologies and future dystopias. He graduated with his MFA from the Slade in 2011, and has since had shows at MOT international, Vitrine, Jerwood Space, Project / Number and the Turner Contemporary, among others. His films have been shown internationally at venues such as the Garage Museum of Contemporary Art in Moscow, the Rotterdam and Berlinale film festivals, Reina Sofia Madrid, and have toured venues across the UK, the United States and Japan. He has lectured at the Cass School of Art, Architecture and Design (London Metropolitan University), the Archi­tectural Association and Central Saint Martins (University of the Arts).
